INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING FOR SPEAKERS AND TRAINERS OF THE EVENT BIG DATA SPAIN 2018

 

 

With regard your participation in the Event BIG DATA SPAIN 2018, we would like to provide you with the information concerning how we process the personal information we (or another company in our behalf) collect, in relation to the registration forms you can find on https://www.bigdataspain.org/ (onwards, the “Website”) or you provide us through the Big Data Spain 2018 App (onwards, the “App”); and what rights assists you, and how to exercise them.

Data Controller

Paradigma Digital, S.L. (onwards, “Paradigma” or “the Organizers”), is the data controller of the data collected through the form available in our website or directly with you in the conversations held between you and Big Data Spain’s Organizers for managing your participation. You can find all of our contact information at the end of this Privacy Policy. 

 

Data we collect

By filling the registration form with your data and confirming your participation in the event, you authorize the Organizers to use your full name, company, expertise and job title for including them in all the marketing and promotional materials of the Event, such as the Website or the App, as well as in the different communications we send to the attendants of the Event. If you do not want us to use the abovementioned data, please, send us an email to hello@bigdataspain.org. Please, bear in mind that the processing of some of those data, such as your name and your expertise information, are necessary for the Event to take place, and in the event you do not want us to process them, you may not be entitled to be a speaker or trainer at the Event.

Communication of the data

 

  1.  When we have legal obligation, we will be able to communicate your information to the authorities and entities that require it to us.
  2.  Our partners, collaborations and attendants to the Event, in order to manage your participation in the Event in accordance with the purposes mentioned above. In addition, we want to inform you that, whenever we communicate your data to our collaborators or service providers for the Event, we sign data processing contracts or the corresponding legal instruments to ensure the processing with all the appropriate measures to guarantee the protection of your personal data, in accordance with the data protection regulation. If certain providers are out of the European Economic Area, we will implement the proper measures, like standard European Commission’s contractual clauses, for transferring the data with all the guaranties required by the applicable legislation.

 

Your rights and how to exercise them:

 

Right of access: you have the right to request information about what personal data of yours we are processing, if any. The information that we can give you in this regard is what type of data is, what is the purpose of their processing or if we have communicated them to third parties or Data Processors, among other aspects.

Right of rectification: it is necessary that the information you provide us is correct and accurate. In case you think we have to rectify some information you can request us to correct it as soon as possible.

Right of suppression and limitation of the data processing: in case you do not want us to continue using your data, or that we only use them for limited purposes, you can exercise this right by indicating if you want us to proceed this way, either because you do not want us to continue processing the data for the purpose of which we collected them, or because the reason that originated their processing has disappeared.

Right of opposition and not to be the object of automated individualized decisions: we will not process your information in case you oppose the data processing, nor to make automated individualized decisions nor to elaborate personalized profiles.

Right to lodge a complaint: if you consider that your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint before the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you, as user, are informed about the collection of your personal data and your rights, as described above. You can exercise the abovementioned rights by notice in writing at hello@bigdataspain.org accompanied with a copy of your ID or similar document that allows the Organizers to properly identify you.
